So what type of alarm?
All our systems come with a one year warranty and we offer a maintenance plan once your first year warranty has expired. You don’t have to do anything as we will contact you to discuss our service plan once your warranty expires. Your alarm should be checked yearly (or every six months dependant on the type of alarm) as having your alarm checked regularly can help avoid problems such as false alarms.
We offer bell only alarms which don’t contact the police or homeowner but are a deterrent to any would be burglar. A speech dialler system automatically contacts you or a nominated person.
Our wireless alarm systems are now one of the most popular systems on offer as there is no need for wires and they are easy to fit and can be removed easily if you move house. Battery-powered sensors are used which communicate with the control panel using radio signals.
Wired alarms involve more work as the wires need to be hidden but this would depend on your preference and we would be happy to discuss the best option for you.
Once you have had your alarm fitted you can have it connected to a response centre so someone will be alerted should the alarm go off, a designated person or police dependant on the type of alarm or contract.
CCTV
CCTV is no longer just for businesses as it has become an increasingly popular choice for home-owners. It protects your home against theft and anti-social behaviour and is an excellent deterrent against burglary. CCTV can be combined with an alarm system or purchased as a standalone security measure.
